About homage expression.
\nI recently finished a stainless steel design that pays homage to the Hakata weaving technique called Hakata Kenjo Pattern using stainless steel.
\nWe selected the right type of stainless steel and adjusted the color.\u3000It turned out very beautiful.<\/p>\n

If this is simply expressed by the texture of the Hakata Kenjo pattern, it can be drawn on stainless steel in a solid (faithful) manner. \u30fb\u30fb\u30fb\u30fb\u30fb\u30fb<\/p>\n

What do you think about \u30fb\u30fb\u30fb\u30fb\u30fb\u30fb?
\nIt was about 8 years ago that I made this prototype.\u3000It was an experience that made me keenly aware of the strangeness of simply drawing textures on metal.
\nTherefore, for this homage to the Fukuoka Lawyer’s Hall, I have tried to keep the meaning, atmosphere, and feeling of the Hakata kegami pattern.<\/p>\n

Now, let’s talk about design expression in titanium.
\nThis is a project to express a wood motif on metal.
\nThe subject is “burnt cedar.<\/p>\n

It is a wood that is used for black walls in architecture.
\nWhat is burnt cedar? \u2192\u3000wiki<\/a><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

This is the expression.
\nFeel this expression and express homage to it.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

On the left is the yakisugi in the photo, and on the right is the yakisugi homage (glossy expression) with a design design polished on the titanium surface.<\/p>\n

It is subtle, but depending on the choice of plate thickness, the surface will undulate.<\/p>\n

The flat surface of metal is very beautiful and the processing accuracy is high.
\nOn the other hand, it is not possible to express a sense of dynamism or the unique luster and sparkle of metal.
\nWhile it is good to intentionally create 3-dimensional design panels, a subtle degree of curvature that gives a subtle sense of dynamism also looks beautiful and natural in combination with the design.<\/p>\n

Many people think that metals are bad for the environment, but I think recyclable metals are very earth-friendly from the perspective of SDGs.
\nIn China, it seems that they are already turning stainless steel scrap domestically to accelerate re-production.<\/p>\n

After being released from the earth, metals, which are products of nature, continue to protect our lives through repeated regeneration and decay.<\/p>\n

Titanium is the best material to express homage to wood.
\nTitanium, a metal that transcends time\u3000\u3000\uff08TranTixxii Titanium\uff09<\/a><\/p>\n

We have introduced the design and polished finish that only titanium can provide.
